About Us
Arthritis Ruins Lives. Our mission is to develop through research, development, innovation and education, new orthopaedic treatments that accelerate healing and enable people to stay active. The Stone Research Foundation is an independent, 501(c)3 non-profit research institute pioneering regenerative orthopedic treatments to stimulate the body's own healing properties to reduce the suffering of sports injuries and arthritis. We leverage small amounts of capital into important clinical and translational research and education. In our clinical research, we conduct outcome studies to measure the effectiveness of the biologic surgical techniques developed and utilized at The Stone Clinic. We conduct translational research to prove the scientific merit of new biologic approaches. We disseminate of the results of this research through presentation, publication, and education in order that others may benefit, and advance the standard of care in orthopedics.
About The Role
The Director of Research and Operations is the backbone of the research program at the Foundation and critical to all operations. Information flows through this person from a variety of sources and they synthesize and disseminate it appropriately. The position manages a variety of clinical and pre-clinical research programs, and is responsible for the full life cycle of the project from literature review and protocol creation, to data collection, analysis, and publication. The position demands a wide range of talents and in return provides a great deal of opportunity and latitude to own, create, and manage key components of the research study lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS
PhD in Science, Math, Statistics, or Engineering or other quantitative field
